Arup, a global collective of design and engineering consultants, recently played a key role in the design and development of a new site for the renowned Midleton Distillery in Cork. To showcase their innovative proposal, they hosted an event where lead engineers presented the project to board members and staff from Midleton Distillery. This gathering, held in Cork, highlighted cutting-edge design concepts and demonstrated Arup’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of engineering and design.
We had the privilege of providing professional event photography services for this important occasion. Our role was to document the event, capturing key moments as the engineers pitched their designs and showcased the project’s features using a variety of advanced technologies. These included immersive virtual and augmented reality tools, which allowed attendees to experience the proposed site in an interactive and forward-thinking way.
Event photography for corporate presentations like this requires a detailed approach to ensure that every significant moment is preserved. For this project in Cork, we focused on capturing a mix of dynamic images, ranging from speakers presenting and audience reactions to close-ups of the high-tech demonstrations. These images not only documented the event but also conveyed the innovation and professionalism of Arup’s approach to design and engineering.
Being part of this event photography project in Cork was an exciting opportunity. It was inspiring to see how Arup integrates modern technology into their design process and to witness the enthusiasm of the Midleton Distillery team as they engaged with the presentation. The photographs captured will serve as a valuable visual record of this milestone for both Arup and Midleton Distillery, emphasising the impact of innovation and collaboration in engineering and design.
