The Irish Grocers Benevolent Fund (IGBF) is a prominent Irish charity dedicated to providing financial assistance to individuals in need who have worked in the retail, wholesale, and supplier trade sectors. Their vital work supports countless families across Ireland, and I was honored to collaborate with them in September 2023 and summer of 2024.
For this project, I provided professional event photography for a highly successful charity lunch hosted at the stunning Clayton Hotel in Cork. The brief included capturing photos of each attendee and sponsor upon arrival, ensuring their contributions were professionally recognized. Additionally, I documented the lively atmosphere of the event, including candid shots of attendees networking, enjoying their meal, and engaging with fellow participants.
This event photography project highlighted the importance of blending formal portraits with dynamic, candid images to create a comprehensive visual story. It was a pleasure to work with such a dedicated organisation and contribute to the celebration of their impactful efforts.
