We had the privilege of working with Shellfish Ireland in June 2023, providing a range of professional food photography services to support their exciting transition to an e-commerce platform. Bhumi from Shellfish Ireland reached out to us to discuss their vision for the project, which required a combination of catalog, styled, and on-location photography.
After several planning calls to ensure every detail was clear, we prepared for a comprehensive shoot that would meet their needs. The first focus was white-background catalog photography, essential for listing their wide variety of seafood products online. These clean, professional images were complemented by a collection of styled shots, designed to serve as banner images for their website. These images emphasised the beauty and appeal of their high-quality seafood offerings.
Another key aspect of the project involved capturing factory shots at their Castletownbere facility in West Cork. These images highlighted the operations and care that go into processing their seafood, providing transparency and trust for their customers. The factory photography was also perfect for use on their website and across social media platforms.
One of the highlights of the shoot was working with live lobster for the catalog images—a unique experience that added an exciting challenge to the project. From start to finish, it was a rewarding collaboration with Shellfish Ireland, and we’re thrilled to have been a part of their e-commerce journey.
